SPORT PHOTOGRAPHY

I am passionate and lucky to photograph professional sports and I have been involved in professional sports at a number of levels. I have worked with athletes at different stages of their careers from their early beginnings to the heights of success and in some cases, fame. I have covered events from small halls to The 02 Arena.

My involvement in these sporting assignments is on behalf of a range of press publications; however it can be directly for the sports promoter as well. I have worked, predominantly in the area of professional boxing, for promoters such as, Matchroom Boxing, Frank Warren’s Queensbury promotions, MTK Global, Cyclone promotions and others. As well as known athletes, such as Tyson Fury, Joe Calzaghe, Chris Eubank Sr, Big Z and a number of others. So far it has been an incredible journey and my journey continues.

On Friday the 13th of May 2022 a charity boxing event TEAR UP @ THE TAVERN was held at Markham Leisure Centre in Blackwood, Caerphilly. The event was proudly presented by Jamie Ross & Chris Burton on behalf of the Valley Tavern in aid of Velindre Cancer research & St David's Hospice Care. Over £10,000 was raised in total & the event featured a sold out crowd as well as appearances from local boxing hero’s, Robbie Turley, Craig Evans, Rhys Evans, Robbie Regan, Christian Evans & more. In addition to this fans in attendance were treated to a song in the interval from Robbie Turley who is not only a boxer & former commonwealth champion but also a professional singer as well. All in all a fantastic & successful evening and all for a great cause!

On Saturday the 12th of March at The Brooklands Suite in Bilston Wolverhampton Aaron Cope & Martin Mullender of Southpaw Boxing Promotions hosted a sold out evening of white-collar boxing. They created generated a brilliant atmosphere with respective groups of people cheering for the fighters they support most!

The show featured 13 fights and guests at the show were also treated to food by friendly staff.

It was a great night with quality boxing match ups with the fights being 50/50 affairs and the dinner table lay out created a great atmosphere!
